Sewmoore School of Stitchcraft and Quiltery - T-shirt (Gray)

My letter never came. I waited by the mailbox for years, and then one day I realized the owl had simply dropped it in the fabric aisle, because the school I was always meant for is the Sewmoore School of Stitchcraft and Quiltery. It's a very old, very magical school, hidden somewhere most people walk right past, and you're admitted the moment you feel a strange pull toward a bolt of fabric you have no plan for. That's the entrance exam.

First years learn the basics: a flick of the wrist with the rotary cutter, the quarter-inch charm, how to make a seam lie flat with a single press. Later comes the darker stuff. Seam ripping is taught in a dungeon classroom by a professor who never smiles. There's a restricted section of the stash that you are not, under any circumstances, allowed to cut into. Students get sorted, of course, into house based on your quilting style, and the houses have been arguing over the Quilt Cup for like, nine hundred years. The stairs in the building move. So does the design wall, if you leave it alone long enough.

I love this crest because it looks the part. For Halloween we printed it in soft black and stormy gray with tiny white sparks and stars, on a heather gray Bella+Canvas crew neck, so it looks like a house shirt you've had since your first term. Most people will see a charming little school emblem. But your kindred spirit quilters will see it and know exactly which school you went to, because they went there too. Class is always in session, and the homework is whatever's on your design wall right now.
