Best Friends Forever (Forest) - T-shirt

I grew up completely obsessed with Hello Kitty, My Melody, Little Twin Stars—the whole Sanrio world. The round faces, the simple expressions, the rosy cheeks. I never really grew out of it.

So when Dave and I started talking about designing a sewing machine tee—Dave's a graphic designer, so these conversations always go somewhere good—kawaii was the only direction that made sense to me. Of course it was. The result is this little sewing machine with a winking face and rosy cheeks, soft cream and blue and green on forest green, "Best Friends Forever" in script below. It's the design I'd been wanting to make for a long time.

The kind of tee you throw on every time you head to the sewing room.
