👋 Hello, my quilty friends, it’s time for Saturday morning cartoons.

This week, we’re going to the movies. Introducing: Quilters at the Movies.

Five movies. Five iconic moments. Reimagined for quilters—mostly starring me and my sewing machine, because apparently we have the kind of relationship that belongs on the big screen.

I’m not giving you any hints. Can you name all five movies? And which one is your favorite?

Now I’m in the mood for a Saturday night at home with popcorn and a movie. Maybe I’ll have to pick one of these five. Which one are you watching tonight?

Creator’s Note: Every Saturday Morning Cartoon starts with a real-life quilting moment. Dave (my husband) is the illustrator behind the comics, and I’m usually the inspiration for the story. He’s been drawing comics since he was a kid, created a comic strip for our university newspaper when we were dating, illustrated editorial cartoons, and even produced weekly comic-style Sunday School lessons for years. It’s been so much fun combining his love of drawing with my love of quilting to create these for our quilty community each week.💛
