"Just one more block"

Hello, my quilty friend!

Well, this week’s cartoon turned out to be a little more autobiographical than I intended.

I actually stayed up until 1 a.m. sewing last night—which I honestly haven’t done in years!

I’m working on a new quilt pattern right now, and I hit that dangerous point where everything was coming together, I was making good progress, and I just…couldn’t stop.

You know the feeling.

“Just one more block.”

And then one more.

And maybe I’ll just finish this section…

Thankfully, I did eventually go to bed and Dave did NOT find me at my sewing machine at 6 a.m. But I feel like we all know how easily things could have gone that direction.
