Let's Jump in a Lake - T-shirt

This is the whole summer in one sentence. "Let's jump in a lake and sleep under the stars"—hand-lettered across the shirt in big bold chunks, each word with its own personality, its own weight, its own color. Stars scattered everywhere, a sleeping bag tucked into the bottom. Every letter drawn by hand.

This isn't one of our quilty tees—it's from Stately Type, the brand my graphic designer husband Dave ran before Maker Valley. Stately Type was his outlet for illustration and hand lettering: a place where he could make exactly the shirt that existed in his head. This summer collection brings a few of those designs back. It's a summer camp shirt for grown-ups, and someone is going to ask where you got it.
