Happy Halloween - V-neck T-shirt (Black)

This one has a story, and I love telling it. Before Maker Valley existed, Dave (my husband, the other half of everything we do here) had a t-shirt company called Stately Type, and this was one of his Halloween designs. He hand-lettered "Happy Halloween" so the words stack into the shape of a pumpkin, complete with a little green stem, and then designed the inner portion of each letter as if it had been cut through with papel picado-style flowers, hearts and lace. I've loved it for years, and this season we brought it back.

It's not a quilt block, but I feel like it belongs in a quilter's closet, right? The letters are packed with the same tiny geometry we love: pinwheels, hearts, half-square triangles, little diamond borders. It reads like a shirt for someone who loves pattern and detail, which, if you're here, is probably you. Wear it to the party and let someone lean in to read it.

Printed in warm pumpkin oranges and gold on a soft black Bella+Canvas crew neck. Happy Halloween, my quilty friend!
