Colorful Happy Christmas Quilt
I finished my colorful Happy Christmas quilt yesterday and it’s already being put to good use! Note: you can buy my in my shop: Happy Christmas quilt pattern by Maker Valley.
This is my 3rd daughter with our Persian cat (Jack). You might think Jack looks mad, but that’s just his resting cat face.
Look at these closeups! My friend Kaitlyn (@knotandthread) worked her magic quilting this baby. She used the Christmas Star pantograph which I’ve used before and LOVE!
I backed it with a super thick minky from @shannonfabrics called Luxe Cuddle Seal in hot pink. Confession: I do NOT enjoy binding this thick minky. I don’t have any issues with regular minky but this one is just a bit more laborious.
Nevertheless, I prevailed because my kids LOVE this minky on the back of quilts. It is so soft!
I think this quilt is going to be a family favorite for years to come!
