👋 Hello, my quilty friends! It’s Saturday, which means it’s time for another Saturday Morning Cartoons.

Today we have the official Maker Valley decision-making flowchart™ — scientifically designed, rigorously tested, 100% accurate every single time. 😌

Do you need it? Do you need it for a future thing? An imagined thing? But is it cute though? (It is. Look at it.) Every road leads to the same beautiful destination, my quilty friends, and I think we all know what it is.

Your stash isn’t hoarding, it’s curating. It’s giving that fabric a good home. You’re basically doing a public service. 😅

If you’re new here, these Saturday Morning Cartoons are a collaboration between my husband, Dave, and me. Dave is the artist and illustrator behind every comic. He’s loved drawing since he was a kid, created a comic strip for our university newspaper when we were dating, and has spent years telling stories through his artwork.

I’m the quilter (and usually the inspiration). Almost every comic is based on something I’ve actually experienced—or something I know many quilters will recognize. We have the best time bringing these to life together each week, and we hope they make you laugh, nod in agreement, or say, “Yep... that’s me!”
